Baby Aven gets ears pierced and goes to Gymboree class

Today was a milestone day for myself and Aven. We first went to the library for Music and Movement class then headed to the Brea mall to get Aven's ears pierced. Since Aven appeared to be fine after the piercing we went to Gymboree for another baby class.
Aven had a ball today! The girl is such a happy little ham. She smiled, laughed, talked and played with any adult or child who looked her way. i must say the free activities at the library for babies and children under 5 is very impressive. It's also a great way to interact with other children in the neighborhood. I held my jolly infant as we sang, danced, listened to stories and learned some sign language. The setting at Gymboree was more intimate and you work one on one with your baby. Aven, being the nosy neighbor she is, was focused on everyone else instead of me and the activity at hand. She loved the bubbles and lying back staring at the multicolored parachute. As a mother it felt good to do something besides go to Walmart and run errands with her. Taking the time to give your baby her own day is rewarding

Baby Aven Plays Piano Keyboard

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Je0bQZVySQs&feature=youtube_gdata_player
Baby Aven playing piano keyboard at 3months! I bought this keyboard with the intent of my daughter playing it when she got older. In the meantime I decided to try to learn a basic song. I sat Aven on my lap while I practiced then stood her up to see if she'd bang on the keys. She immediately got happy and started to play so I recorded it. Check out the way she looks up at the music book as if she's reading it lol :-)We'll see if she turns into the next Alicia Keys.
